Description

EXM1® Directional Proportional Valve: The solution to pollution issues and the dangers correlated to the use of hydraulic oil. The new hydraulic and ecologic valve, called EXM1, has been developed and patented by Tech-Euroengineering. The EXM1 valve is a modern substitute of hydraulic valves by employing marine and fresh water as a working fluid, which is then released in the environment without contamination. It can be used in those areas likely to yield high risks of environmental pollution and that, potentially, could cause serious human injuries. Where the idea comes from The valve was born from a project that had the aim of creating a prototype of an entirely ecologic workboat by also eliminating the use of hydraulic oil in the movement systems of the crane to eradicate the risk of oil spillages in the environment. The EXM1 valve is a hydrodynamic device 4/3-way linear suitable to the management and control of hydraulic double-acting actuators. The valve has been patented and tested to function using water as a working fluid. It can work either in an open and closed circuit. The system is able to directly draw non-demineralized water from the sea and to function in an accurate way for prolonged periods. without interruptions despite the impurities and corrosive power that characterize such a fluid. The EMX1 valve is implemented in different sectors with advantages not only on an ecologic level, but also on a safety one. Furthermore, it can be used in retrofit projects of existent machineries.
