Product overview
The Edge Core is a non-contact infrared pyrometer designed to measure temperatures from −50 °C to +900 °C with precision. Its extremely compact sensor can operate in ambient temperatures up to 180 °C without external cooling. Standard M12 connections and an industrial controller in an aluminum die-cast enclosure enable machine- and process-level installation. Typical uses include machine building, machine design, production processes and quality assurance.

Integration and interfaces
Edge Core is developed for OEM integration and offers multiple outputs to fit industrial environments. Analog and digital outputs, as well as switching and alarm signals, enable direct integration into control systems, data acquisition modules and automation equipment.

Design and construction
The system separates local measurement and evaluation: a compact infrared sensor and an industrial-grade controller housed in an aluminum die-cast enclosure with IP65 protection. The sensor's small size allows space-saving installation close to the measurement point while withstanding high ambient temperatures (up to 180 °C) without cooling.
