The Tetra Pak® Powder Feeder DN061 is an accurate, versatile and efficient feeder. It’s easy to clean and can be customized according to specific needs. The design is highly hygienic – all parts that are in contact with product are made of stainless steel, pressurized air make sure no powder enters the bearings and a sanitary gap between the motor and bearing unit prevents product from oil contamination. Dosing accuracy is ensured by a synchronous motor, where the screw is actuated by a direct coupling gear motor. Quick facts Ensures accurate dosing of powders for dairy products and prepared food. Can be used in gain-in-weight or loss-in-weight processes. Capacity Average flow (depending on product and process): 70 to 1,700 litres/hour with accuracy down to +/- 15 grams. Thanks to the concept with pressurized bearings, no powder enters the bearings unit. The swiveling hinge for motor disassembly facilitates maintenance and cleaning. And, as there is a sanitary gap between the motor and bearing unit, there is no product contamination from lubricant. Accurate powder dosing A screw pitch regulates the flow to ensure accurate dosing, while the blade prevents powder from vaulting inside the hopper or bag-tipping unit and guarantees a constant and uniform density of powder feeding the screw.
