Description

Overview
The TPS563201 is a compact, easy-to-use 3 A synchronous step-down (buck) converter in a 6-pin SOT-23 (DDC) package. Designed for minimal external components, it delivers low standby current and fast transient response using the D-CAP2 control scheme. The TPS563201 operates in pulse-skip mode to maximize light-load efficiency and supports low-ESR output capacitors without external compensation.

Key features
  • 3 A synchronous buck converter (TPS563201) with integrated FETs
  • D-CAP2™ control for fast transient response
  • Input voltage range: 4.5 V to 17 V
  • Output voltage range: 0.76 V to 7 V
  • Pulse-skip mode (TPS563201) for light-load efficiency
