The Polartex braid is a 4-diagonally interlocked packing, made entirely of 6/9 micron glass yarns, which does not fray when cut. This weaving system makes the packing softer and at the same time compact. The yarns used are textured and resistant to 550°C. Applications Wood boilers, industrial furnaces, high temperature gaskets in the boiler, metallurgy, petrochemical industries, and in foundries for sealing boiler and furnace doors.
