The vermiculite treated glass tape resists high temperatures and is able to retain heat longer, prolonging the lifetime of the protected material. Thanks to its considerable anti heat-dispersion quality, when wrapped around exhaust pipes it reduces the temperature of the engine bonnet by a full 50% and, at the same time, promotes the rapid discharge of gases from the engine itself and from the exhaust system.
