This glass tape, an excellent substitute for asbestos, is made entirely from 6-9 μm glass yarns that withstand temperatures . On request, the tape is available with an adhesive side, a drop-warp type tape, of a black colour, caramelised or treated with vermiculite. Applications Heat protection, covering of cables, insulation of pipes and exhaust pipes, electrical insulation.
