Polartape is manufactured using glass thread type E 9 µm, air texturized, enriched to create a bouclé effect. The main characteristics is the weave using a linear mesh machine, that allows tape to be obtained with a wide tricot mesh, that gives greater flexibility. Polartape is elastic, soft and malleable and is a valid alternative to the classic fibreglass tape where greater compression and low density is necessary. Polartape can also be silicone coated or coated with vermiculite. Polartape is a patent pending product. Applications Metallic couplings, exhaust manifolds, pipes. Industrial carpentry, ovens, boilers, suitable for the steel, naval, chemical and petrochemical industries.
