Description
The Transient Recovery Voltage (TRV) capacitors are suitable for combination with circuit breakers (CB) to decrease the transient overvoltage that may occur during switching processes. The capacitor has high customization range to link CB mechanical and electrical parameters, and is shock-and vibration-resistant due to CB's switching operation.
A coupling capacitor (CC) is provided with an electromagnetic unit, called CVT, and is used to furnish voltage for metering and security applications. The product is available from 24 kV up to 500 kV with high capacitance values up to 500 nF. The model features compliance with global standards.
The capacitor is also applicable for line-trap applications on top of coupling capacitors. It offers coupling and decoupling of HF signals to the power line
