OverviewThe WeftMaster® SW sensor detects yarn breaks and stoppages of the weft, reliably identifying moving or missing threads even at a minimum detectable thickness of 7 μm. It continuously monitors weft insertion across the full fabric width up to the selvedge.
Key features- Instant detection of weft faults to prevent defective inserts from entering the fabric, reducing waste and improving production uptime.
- Effective detection regardless of yarn type, including threads down to 7 μm.
- Minimal additional tension on the yarn when passing the sensing head, based on long-term development and expertise.
- Monitoring up to the fabric selvedge across the entire width.
- Immediate machine stop upon missing weft to ensure product conformity while minimising false stops.
- Compatible with all yarn types.
- Engineered for efficient machine operation.
Versions- WeftMaster SFW-L Mini — for projectile weaving machines.
- WeftMaster SW 10G — for rapier weaving machines.
Additional information- Brochure available (English).
