Our range of Antimicrobial Castors are manufactured from a Polyamide and Polyurethane pairing, with a variety of fitment types available including stemmed (circlip), threaded, and plate fixing. Unlike our other Castor Wheel types, these feature an anti microbial coating called Biocote that uses silver ions to protect against colonising microbes, by interfering with DNA replication. This specialised coating makes Antimicrobial Castors excellent for use within medical or food related industries where hygiene is paramount.
