Overview
CHIOR HMT agitators with external electric motor are engineered for mixing in anaerobic digesters, digestate tanks and pre-tanks. The 3-blade stainless-steel propeller and modular shaft system provide effective homogenisation in effluents with medium-to-high solids while allowing optimisation between performance and energy consumption.

Function
The CHIOR HMT agitator comprises an electric motor with gear reducer coupled to a propeller designed to homogenise and maintain suspension of medium-to-low density liquids such as pig slurry, cattle manure and biogas digestate. The unit delivers robust mixing via a dynamically balanced 3-blade 304 stainless-steel propeller. The HMT B model features bi-directional adjustment. Units are designed for side-of-tank installation and integrate with a concrete mounting frame.
