SEPCOM Oil Horizontal is an innovative horizontal screw press solids-liquid separator designed for dewatering and separation of a wide range of substrates including olive pomace, digestate from biogas plants, industrial sludges and livestock slurry. Key components include a compensator hopper tank, a self-adjusting counter-pressure diaphragm outlet and modular SINT engineering polymer screws. A specially shaped self-cleaning cylindrical screen basket reduces wear and maintenance requirements.

Function
SEPCOM Oil Horizontal separates solids and liquids by gravity and mechanical compression. Feed enters the compensator tank and overflow hopper; solids are conveyed by the screw toward the diaphragm outlet where a material plug forms to retain the liquid phase and enable automatic operation. Liquid drains through the cylindrical screen while solids are compacted and discharged.

Drive and Construction
The separator casing is stainless steel and contains the screw conveyor and a cylindrical screen basket. The drive unit comprises an electric motor and a gear reducer with a splined output shaft directly coupled to the conveyor screw. Modular screw segments simplify maintenance and spare-part logistics.
