OverviewSILOTOP® polyTUBE™ is a compact silo venting filter designed for concrete batching plants. The unit combines a stainless-steel housing with vertically mounted polyTUBE™ filter elements using ZERO™ nano-fibre media and an open-profile tubular cell structure to minimise dust residue and maintain filtration performance over time.
FunctionThe SILOTOP® polyTUBE™ venting filter is intended for intermittent operation. It allows air to vent while retaining dust. Separated dust collected on the polyTUBE™ elements is returned to the silo by an integrated automatic cleaning system controlled by the FILMEC™ electronic controller. Cleaning cycles can run during operation and at cycle end to preserve filter performance.
Features- Interchangeable with previous SILOTOP® versions
- Compact design: Ø800 mm housing, stainless-steel body with bottom flange
- Low element height: ≈500 mm for safe maintenance on silo roof
- Weather protection cover with lockable quick-release
- Tool-free removal of filter elements
- Vertical polyTUBE™ elements with ZERO™ nano-fibre media
- High-performance pulse mechanical cleaning with energy distribution plate
- Very low dust emission levels (typical <1 mg/Nm3 with cement)
- Low energy consumption < 80 kWh/year (typical)
- Automated management and monitoring via FILMEC™ (USB recording, MODBUS)
- International patents
Benefits- Reduced installation and operating costs
- Minimised dust emissions for regulatory compliance
- Lower energy consumption and reduced noise (approx. -9 dB(A) vs pneumatic cleaning)
- Safer plant operation due to low differential pressure and data monitoring
- Consistent filtration performance with minimal dust residue
Accessories- Weld-on bottom ring
- Emission sampling kit
