OverviewThe WL3870 tubular linear solenoid is a compact electromagnetic actuator that converts electrical energy into precise linear motion. It comprises a cylindrical coil, enclosed magnetic housing, movable plunger, return spring and guide shaft. Energizing the coil with DC voltage produces a magnetic field that moves the plunger; when de-energized the return spring returns the plunger to its start position.
