Product overview
Wireless power transfer coil enabling contactless transfer of electrical energy between compatible devices by electromagnetic coupling across an air gap. Designed for sealed housings, contactless charging and applications where exposed connectors are undesirable. Configurable as transmitter, receiver, coupling or multi-coil assemblies and customizable for power, frequency, dimensions and installation environment.

How it works
  • Step 1 – Power in: DC input is converted to high-frequency AC by an electronic driver.
  • Step 2 – Creation of magnetic field: The transmitter coil driven by AC current generates an oscillating magnetic field.
  • Step 3 – Magnetic coupling: The field crosses the air gap and couples to the receiving coil.
  • Step 4 – Electrical energy generation: The receiving coil converts the changing magnetic field into AC voltage.
  • Step 5 – Rectification: A rectifier converts the received AC into DC power.
  • Step 6 – Voltage regulation: Control circuitry regulates voltage and current to the load or battery.
