Description

Product information
The Weishaupt WL5–40 series covers a capacity range from 16.5 to 570 kW. Forced-draught oil burners are a preferred solution where mains gas is not available. Designed for reliability and safe operation, these burners are suitable for residential, commercial and industrial thermal applications.

Energy saving
Optional features such as variable speed drive (VSD) and O2 trim (available on WL30 and WL40) enable staged load control and continuous combustion optimisation, reducing fuel consumption and operating costs.

Excellent emissions
Low‑NOx mixing assemblies are available for clean combustion while maintaining reliable start behaviour and standard inspection intervals.

Modern fuels
Compatible with Class D and Class A2 gas oil per BS 2869; fuel oil EL and low‑sulphur fuel oil EL per DIN 51603‑1. Blended gas oil with biogenic admixture up to 20.9% (optionally up to 30.9%) is supported. Paraffinic gas oil (fuel oil EL P per DIN/TS 51603‑8) is also usable.

Benefits
  • Universal application: Flame geometry matched to different heat generators (hot air units, steam boilers, etc.) for customised installation.
  • Quiet operation: Sound‑attenuated air inlet housing reduces noise emissions.
  • Service-friendly electrics: Combustion manager with integrated connection console and coded, numerically labelled plugs for quick component removal, simplified maintenance and prevention of connection errors.

System solution
The W‑FM25 digital combustion manager (with optional field bus module) enables communication with building automation and control systems for remote control, monitoring and fault diagnosis.
