Product informationThe Weishaupt WKmono 80 monobloc burners deliver industrial-scale thermal output in a compact monobloc design. Available for gas, oil or dual-fuel operation, units cover ratings up to 17 000 kW while keeping overall length and footprint optimized for boiler and furnace installations.
Benefits- High capacity in compact form: overall length approx. 1 630 mm with capacity ranges from approx. 1 100–1 300 kW up to 17 000 kW depending on type and execution.
- Integrated digital combustion management: W-FM series controllers (W-FM100/200) supplied as standard or option for economical regulation, stepwise commissioning menus and integration with monitoring or building management systems.
- Service-friendly design: mixing assemblies derived from WK duobloc series are readily accessible, can be moved to service position inside the housing and withdrawn up to 700 mm for maintenance.
Applications- Liquid fuels: suitable for class D and A2 gas oil per BS 2869 and low-sulphur fuel oil EL per DIN 51603-1; compatible with blended gas oil containing biogenic admixture up to 99.9% and with FAME per EN 14214 and paraffinic oils (EL P).
- Gaseous fuels: designed for natural gas and for hydrogen blends up to 20 vol% in many configurations (subject to individual approval where required).
- Flexible executions and mixing assemblies available to meet specific application, combustion and emission limits.
- Global service network ensures reliable aftermarket support and commissioning assistance.
Technology- multiflam® technology: patented internal flue gas recirculation concept to cool the flame and reduce NOx formation, applicable for large combustion plants.
- 4LN versions: burners equipped with integrated flue gas recirculation and dedicated control components for stringent emission requirements.
- W-FM100/200 digital combustion managers: burner-mounted or separate versions with integrated connection consoles, bus interfaces and options such as O2-trim probes for optimized combustion and continuous monitoring.
- Gaseous fuels contain negligible sulphur, so flue gases are predominantly CO2, H2O and N2, which reduces contamination risk for FGR systems.
