OverviewThe YUNYI XY Series Laser Radar Level Meter is a non-contact instrument for continuous level measurement using a semiconductor laser. It emits continuous or high-speed pulsed beams; the time-of-flight between emission and reception is measured to calculate distance to the target.
How It WorksD = C × T / 2
Level = E – D
The onboard processor converts distance into a percentage of the configured range and provides corresponding analog/digital outputs.
Measurement modes- Pulse method – suited for long-distance general applications
- Phase method – for higher-precision requirements
Key Advantages- Exceptional beam focus – very small divergence and high directionality; narrow beam minimizes echo from obstacles.
- Extremely long range – configurable from 0.05 to 1000 m with limited blind zone.
- Temperature-independent – measurement not affected by medium or ambient temperature variations.
- Non-contact – no sensor contact with material, reducing fouling and maintenance.
- High speed – rapid response suitable for fast-changing liquid and solid levels.
- High precision – typical accuracy 0.1% with 1 mm resolution.
- Operator interface – programmable with a 4.3-inch touchscreen (Chinese standard interface).
