Description

The CS-iTWMD-05D manhole cover tilt and water-immersion monitor is designed to detect manhole cover inclination/movement and rising water level, and to transmit alarm and status messages wirelessly to a monitoring centre. The device is battery-powered for simplified installation and extended service life, and supports low-power wide-area network communications.

Working principle
The device measures the current inclination angle of the manhole cover using an acceleration sensor and detects water-level exceedance via a float sensor. An alarm is triggered when ABS(current angle − initial angle) > alarm angle threshold (default 10°, configurable) or when the float indicates water-level exceedance. Alarm signals are transmitted wirelessly to the monitoring centre for analysis and follow-up.
