NB-IoT

The CS-iTWGLM is a multi-functional manhole cover monitoring terminal designed for continuous, wireless monitoring of manhole status, water level and environmental conditions in urban drainage and utility networks.

Working principle
The device detects the current inclination of the manhole cover via an accelerometer and monitors water level using a float sensor. It can also monitor selectable harmful-gas concentrations when equipped with gas sensors. Alarms are generated when measured values exceed configured thresholds (default tilt alarm angle: 10°) or when float/gas sensors trigger exceedance. Status and alarm messages — including low-battery warnings — are transmitted to a monitoring platform via NB‑IoT or LoRaWAN. Reporting intervals and alarm thresholds are configurable; message flags distinguish alarm vs normal conditions.
