The CS-iTWGM-02 is a battery-powered wireless terminal that detects manhole cover tilt/movement and measures combustible gas concentration for real-time abnormality detection and alarm reporting.

Key functional description

• Installation: mounted on the back or underside of the manhole cover; normal state is when the cover is horizontal.
• Movement detection: onboard accelerometer measures tilt angle; configurable alarm threshold (example: 10°); unconditional alarm if tilt > 90°.
• Gas detection: MEMS gas sensor monitors combustible/harmful gases and triggers alarm when concentration exceeds a configurable threshold.
• Alarm reporting: immediate alarm message sent via selected wireless network (NB‑IoT or LoRaWAN) to the monitoring center when alarm conditions occur; immediate report also sent when state returns to normal.
• Reporting behavior: supports scheduled periodic reports in non-alarm state and immediate reporting in alarm state; messages include device status bits for alarm and power states.
• Wireless communication: selectable NB‑IoT or LoRaWAN modes for flexible deployment.
• Power: battery-powered with low-power design for extended operation.
