Product overviewThe Conventional FAAST FLEX Bluetooth App (Honeywell SmartConfig) connects a smart device to a Conventional FAAST FLEX detector for configuration, monitoring and basic operation. The app supports one smart device paired to one detector via Bluetooth Low Energy to minimize direct interaction with the detector.

Download and installation- Available from Google Play Store and Apple App Store—search for Honeywell SmartConfig to download and install.
- Requires a compatible smart device running iOS 12 or later, or Android 10 or later, and Bluetooth 4.2 (Bluetooth Low Energy).
- The End User License Agreement (EULA) is presented during installation and must be accepted to use the app.
- For Android devices in China: obtain the vendor package, extract and transfer the .apk to the device, open Downloads and tap the .apk to install; grant required permissions via device Settings if prompted.
Availability and regulatory noteBluetooth is disabled by default. Enable Bluetooth only in regions where radio emission approvals (e.g. RED, FCC) are satisfied.
