Overview
The YE series is a cost-effective SCARA robot family for industrial automation tasks such as pick-and-place, assembly, packaging, inspection and material handling. Designed for stable, repeatable operation, the YE series supports production lines in electronics, automotive components, consumer goods and general manufacturing.

Key features

• Reduced operating costs: Absolute encoder backup battery and home-position storage relocated to the robot body; number of backup batteries reduced from four to one to lower maintenance and running costs.
• Through-hole shaft and cap options: Optional through-hole shaft and through-hole cap allow routing of pneumatic tubing and electrical wiring through the robot body to simplify mounting and reduce cable strain.
• Optional brake release switch: Provides manual Z-axis release during installation or adjustment when held; brake re-engages when released. (Brake release switch location is the same on YE models as shown for the YK-XE image.)
• Multifunctional controller compatibility: Compatible with RCX440 controller, enabling integrated vision RCXiVY2+ and support via RCX-Studio2020 for a wide range of automation tasks.

• Does the YE comply with CE or KCs standards? No. YE does not comply with CE or KCs. Use the YK-XE model if CE or KCs compliance is required.
• Is the RCX340 controller compatible with YE? No. Use the RCX440 controller; RCX340 is not compatible with YE.
