Large-size SCARA robots suitable for assembly and transfer of large or heavy parts. New product in the series: YK1200XG.

  • 01 Internal structure: Internal design delivering high rigidity and high accuracy.
  • 02 Completely beltless structure: A totally beltless design (ZR axis direct coupling) reduces wasted motion, preserves long-term accuracy and minimizes maintenance (except for large model YK1200X).
  • 03 High speed: Improved maximum speed and gear/motor ratio for shorter cycle times and better tact time on long-distance movements.
  • 04 Improved maintenance features: Removable front/upward covers separated from cables for easier maintenance; harmonic gear is grease-sealed on YK-500XG to YK1000XG eliminating frequent grease replacement.
  • 05 R-axis inertia moment capacity: Low R-axis inertia reduces cycle time with large offsets; speed reducer directly coupled to the rotating axis provides high allowable inertia moment enabling high-speed operation with offsets.
  • 06 Compact: Optimized cable routing, compact motor selection and extrusion-based structure result in the smallest dimensions in its class.
  • 07 Resolver (robust position detection): Resolver-based position detector enables robust closed-loop control resistant to temperature, shock, electrical noise, dust and oil; backup circuit retention extended to approximately one year.
  • 08 Zone control: Automatic setting of optimal maximum acceleration/deceleration based on arm posture at start/end of motion to prevent motor/gear overload and extract full power safely.
  • 09 Hollow shaft and tool flange options: Optional hollow shaft for easy wiring to end tools and optional tool flange for tool clamping (available on specified models).
  • 10 History: Over 30 years of SCARA robot development with continuous improvements across the product family.
