Custom engineered gantry or Cartesian robotic systems from Macron Dynamics, Inc., manufacturers of belt driven linear actuators guaranteed for life, provide industrial automation and motion control solutions for a wide range of applications.
Configurations include multiple axis and vertical axis motion built to client specifications. Macron gantry systems use belt drives and/or linear actuators designed to travel at speeds up to 600 inches per second, move loads of up to 10,000 pounds, and travel lengths of up to 500 feet.
In addition, actuators used in Macron's custom gantry robots are virtually maintenance free and provide repeatability to +/- .001 with zero backlash.
Macron's experienced linear motion engineers are available to provide a fully functional automated gantry system or Cartesian robotic system or will work directly with robotics contractors, system integrators, OEMs or end users.

Gantry robots and systems
Gantry robots consist of a combination of carriages and guide rails governed by spatial coordinates X, Y and Z, giving access to every point in the working area. The entire assembly is located on uprights which are firmly fixed to the floor, so all work takes place in the space immediately above the working area. Working parts such as grippers, electrode holders or cutting tools etc. are attached to the lower end of the vertical Z-axis.

The I&J9662 (R) industrial robot has an automatic dispensing area of 23.62 x 23.62 (600 x 600mm) and must be supported by main and idle supports on each side of the machine. These supports also set the height of the robot. The in-line Cartesian robot operates above the dispensing application and is therefore is suited as an assembly robot for conveyors and work cells. The dispensing robot is available in 3 and 4 axes models.
Features:
• Working Area of 23.62" x 23.62" (600 x 600mm)

Type with a supporting guide attached at the end of arm type Y-axis. This type is suitable for the system requiring higher rigidity, such as when the Y-axis stroke is long, and when the load weight is heavy. There are three models of different load capacity from 30kg to 50kg.

Great compatibility between the various sections, linear guidance and systems of drive, enable us to produce gantries of all sizes according to the uses.
|
|
The gantries are built in 5 different sizes for linear gantries and 3 sizes for area gantries for workpiece weights between 0,5 and 1,000 kg. Each size is a modular system with individual adaption possibilities for the respective application.
The axis is driven via a gear rack through a three phase servo motor. Controls are supplied by all known and reputable suppliers.
Gantries offer multiple possibilities for transportation, handling, loading and unloading as well as storage. Based on the use of R&M and FMEA-measures they are exceptionally low maintenance.

1) Simple teaching for Various Applications
i) Complicated Robot language is not necessary.
ii) We provide you unique system program for each
purpose with JR2000N Series, such as screw tightening,
dispensing and soldering release you from making
complicated programs and using robot languages. Each
axis shifts flexibly for remote or direct programming, so
you can register points quickly.
2) Valuable Memory capacity
Program capacity: Up to 255 programs or 30,000 point
Sequence function capacity: 100 programs (1,000
steps / 1 program)
3) All in one
There is no wiring between the robot and a controller box
since the controller is inside the robot body. Just plug it
in and the robot is ready to use.
4) Useful P.C. software the JR C-points
It is helps you teaching program and modifying teaching
program. Also
you can save teaching program data in your P.C.

The side entry robots series Side CNC (numerical control) has been designed to satisfy the demands for very high speed cycle, for the quickest unloading of the moulded parts. The high rigidity structure combined with very powerful motors, it allows to reach an overall cycle time of 2.5 seconds (stacking inclusive) and a moulding delay time of0.4 second. This series of robot is particularly suitable to be used in the food packaging, in mould labelling (IML), in CD box production, etc... In comparison to other similar robots this series of robots, being also provided with a third motorized vertical axis, can directly stack the moulded parts without any other external automations. Simple and intuitive programming, without limits! Very practical it is besides the possibility to directly fix the robot on the top of the fixed plane of the injection moulding machine as a traditional robot, in order to avoid encumbrances on the floor and not to have any relative movement between injection moulding machine and robot (however, if required, it is possible to install the robot to a special structure fixed to the floor).

The TT Table Top Robot is as accurate as it is convenient. Featuring a rigid base of aluminum extruded material, a high accuracy ball screw and a servo control motor, the TT allows positioning repeatability of +/- 0.02 mm and eliminates misstepping. High path accuracy and constant speed are attained through a built-in X-SEL controller. The TT can be used in conjunction with a teaching pendant, PC software or other tools.
Application examples using the TT include coating (based on the unit’s high-performance interpolation function), soldering (with the TT’s 3000-point positioning capability), driving screws (based on the Z-axis push-motion function) and circuit board inspection (using an optional attached image sensor).

The dispensing table-top robot TR300 designed and produced by mta automation ag is controlled by an industrial PC allowing the automation of dispensing operations for liquid or viscous products. The increasing demands of customers in term of quality, precision and repeatability lead to increasing levels of automation. However, when production batches are small or products widely dissimilar, the cost of sophisticated equipment can place automation beyond the reach of many would-be users. In order to satisfy this need, mta developed a table-top robot which combines flexibility with required high levels of process quality and repeatability, all at a reasonable cost.
The 3 or 4 axes can be fully programmed, as are the dispensing parameters for each dispensed point.
