The Type NAA relay is the general designation of a large family of special purpose auxiliary relays. Most NAA relays have two or more telephone type auxiliaries mounted in the regular draw out case. In some specific types an overcurrent function may also be included.
Applications
Ground distance auxiliary (NAA15)
Out-of-step auxiliary (NAA19)
Transferred tripping auxiliary (NAA27)
Relay Supervision (NAA30)
Protection and Control
Application specific configurations
Adjustable pickup/dropout times

* HEA Multicontact Auxiliary Relay
The Type HEA high-speed multicontact, auxiliary relays are applicable where it is desired that a number of operations be performed simultaneously from the operation of a single relay.
* HAA Auxiliary or Annunciator Relay
Generally two specific forms of the HAA are available, a current operated unit and a voltage operated unit. Example: HAA15A4 is 0.2/2 A DC and the HAA15B5 is a 125 VDC unit. Also, two general case designs are available. The single units such as HAA 15 use a molded plastic case with glass window and all others the standard drawout case.

The relays are designed to still guarantee optimal benefits and absolute security in the more adverse surroundings of operation. An ample range of auxiliary relays is offered: monostable, bistable, time-lag and of function and measurement.
