The Maxell's LR battery is a compact, light and economical alkaline battery having a nominal voltage of 1.5V. The LR battery is less expensive than silver oxide batteries and usable with a wide variety of equipment, ranging from electronic calculators to electric toys. Based on many years of experience and know-how in the field of silver oxide batteries, the LR battery boasts high quality and high reliability.
Excellent cost-performance
Unlike silver oxide batteries that use the precious metal, silver, the alkaline battery features good cost-performance because it uses low-cost manganese dioxide as its active material.
Superior leakage resistance
Like silver oxide batteries, the LR battery is manufactured using the Maxell's original leak-resistant processing that suppresses the electrolyte from rising up and seeping out - a basic phenomenon of alkaline electrolytes.

The AGM range has very low internal resistance making them particulary suitable for high current discharge applications such as for inverters, thrusters and industrial winches as well as engine starting.

Medical in-line charger meets stringent requirements and IP68
In order to meet the requirements of hospital and care environments, Engelking Elektronik has developed an innovative 12W charger unit which is able to withstand the ingress of water and other liquids to IP68+ as found in automatic washing units. The unit's robust housing can withstand the weight of such items as a 250kg hospital bed without damage. This is hardly surprising as the charger electronics are completely molded in polyurethane making it almost indestructible.
The charger's output is fitted with a 2.5m helical cable made of polyurethane which is impervious as well as having excellent long-term retraction qualities. The mains side is fitted as standard with a short water resistant (EPR) cable and splash-proof European 2-pin contour plug thus meeting the requirements of class 2 for hospital applications, needing no earth connection.
The in-line design of this charging unit means that the strain on the wall socket is reduced and the unit cannot easily fall onto the floor or patient.
Having a wide range input of 90-240VAC, double pole fusing the standard product is designed for charging 24V lead acid professional batteries but custom variations are available on request. |

Centaur Charger 12 / 24 Volt
The new Centaur range of battery chargers from Victron Energy have been designed to be a true world-wide product. Universal compliance and input/output specifications are cornerstone characteristics of the new range from the established Dutch manufacturer.
Designed to meet the requirements of both CE for Europe and UL for the United States, the Centaur model range features auto-ranging input covering 90-265Vac 50/60Hz input meaning they can be used anywhere in the world. Crucially, and unlike other products that state universal input, the Centaur range will maintain full output power within the entire specified range.
Other features include fully automatic three stage charge characteristic that ensures professional batteries are fully charged every time and three isolated charge outputs for multi battery configurations to suit the majority of typical installations. Manufactured from quality moulding and metal components to ensure a secure and reliable connection, Bulgin’s battery holder range caters for battery sizes 1/2AA, AAA(R03), AA(R6), C(R14), D(R20) and PP3(6R61), accommodating 1, 2, 3 or 4 cells.
There’s a choice of fixing styles including screw and flange panel fixing, PCB and base mounting versions.
The panel mounting versions are now available in two styles; standard fixing and front panel sealed to IP67, extending the applications into harsher external environments where dust or water would inhibit equipment operation.
