Park Sentry™ is a simple method to add a layer of scratch-free impact resistant material around a square or rectangular column. Its slim design adds protection without adding bulk to the column. Parking structures using Park Sentry can virtually add space by inviting closer contact between vehicles and columns without the fear of scratches or dents.
Park Sentry is molded of proprietary ARPRO® material ready to be installed around the column without tools. Park Sentry is a modular product: separate corner and plank products combine to surround the column with protection. A key-lock system positions the pieces correctly and holds them together. A set of reflective polypropylene straps surrounds the entire installation, holding it firmly to the column and providing a highly visible contrasting element visible in dimly lit buildings or parking structures.
Park Sentry is 1 meter (approximately 40in.) high and can be configured to fit any sized column by adding or subtracting pieces or cutting to fit. It is available in either bright yellow or black with contrasting reflective straps. |

Stacker Crane Shock Absorbers SCS-38 to 63
ACE Stacker Crane Shock Absorbers (SCS Series) are designed primarily for emergency applications to improve the performance and safe operation of equipment such as automated storage and retrieval systems. During normal operation, the shock absorbers are required to provide only minimal resistance, but are designed to function under full load conditions when necessar y. In an emergency condition, when the velocity of the system carriage or trolley is greater than normal, the SCS shock absorber responds to protect the installation by providing controlled deceleration.
In the nor mal ready condition the piston rod is fully extended. When the impacting load strikes the absorber, the hydraulic oil behind the piston is forced out through a series of metering orifices. The number of metering or ifices in action reduces propor tionally through the stroke and the load velocity is thereby smoothly reduced to zero. The inter nal pressure and thus the reaction force remains
constant throughout the entire stroke length. The displaced oil is stored in the bladder accumulator. The integrated gas chamber, containing low pressure nitrogen, provides the retur n force to reset the rod to its extended position and functions as an accumulator for the hydraulic oil displaced during operation.
Applications include: automated storage and retr ieval systems, automotive manufacturing and production equipment, theme park rides, and small overhead cranes. |

Safety shock absorbers are maintenance free, self-contained and the majority equipped with an integrated mechanical stop. They have either an integrated membrane accumulator for volume compensation when the piston is in its compressed position or to reset the piston rod. Or you can select to use a compressed gas chamber on some models.

ACE Miniature Shock Absorbers are self-contained hydraulic units. The MC 9 to MC 75 model range has a very short overall length and low return force. Its small size allows for high energy absorption in confined spaces, while the wide effective weight ranges accommodate a variety of load conditions. With threaded outer bodies and multiple accessories, MC models can be mounted in numerous configurations.

The last thing you need in production are production outages, machine damage and increased maintenance costs. Wherever masses are set in motion, such risks can be minimised only if the deceleration of the moved masses is uniform and linear across the whole deceleration distance.
