The GARVENS XS3 CC H CombiChecker is a HACCP compliant in-line checkweighing and metal detection combination system. These two world-leading product inspection technologies combined with the very hygienic design make this checkweighing combination the food industry Nr. 1 brand protection choice.
The XS3 CC H checkweigher is suitable for dynamically weighing products up to 6000g with an accuracy from ± 0.1 g and a maximum throughput of 400 ppm.
Whilst the checkweigher measures product weights fast and precisely, rejecting out of tolerance products, the metal detector reliably detects and rejects products contaminated by metal. Common contaminants which are detected range from nuts and bolts down to small metal filings, staples, needles or pieces of wire. The rejection of badproducts is ensured by two rejecting devices so that metal-contaminated and off-weight products can be separately rejected.
Product and water build-up/contamination is minimized by avoiding level surfaces on the conveyor and weighcell supports, as well as the exclusive use of round tubes on the horizontal section of the frame. The patented, minimal contact, conveyor support clamps and open frame construction facilitate easy cleaning. Seam welding improves hygiene and reduces the risk of bacteria build-up.

The metal detector/checkweigher combo provides both checkweighing and metal detection with a minimum space requirement. This system features the superior performance and accuracy of a Ramsey checkweigher with the high sensitivity of a Thermo Scientific metal detector. This unique arrangement eliminates the expense of a separate conveyor for the metal detector.
Output signals from the metal detector and checkweigher operate independent rejects. One rejects metal contaminated products, while the other rejects off weight products. This feature keeps metal contaminated products separate from potentially reusable off weight products.

The single-face metal detector ELCON is used to inspect poured or bulk materials, preferably of a thin nature, on belt conveyers or material chutes.

The result: having a good separated fraction of metals or rather material that is free of metals.
The operating principle of the Metal Separator by Inductive Detection and Blowing (R-SIM) is based on having a combination of highly efficient sensors available that cover the entire width of the equipment. A metal on the detector produces a signal that is processed at high speed due to an electronic advancement (CPU). It then acts on a complex pneumatic system that carries out the physical separation. A studied distribution of the detectors, the high capacity of processing information and a precise system of pneumatic valves allow the metal to be “blown”, changing its path and separating it from the natural path and the rest of the materials.
The Metal Separator by Inductive Detection and Blowing (R-SIM) has an acceleration belt that can handle large volumes of processed material. Likewise, a PC with a touch screen can modify and adjust the different parameters in order to obtain the optimum separation.
The R-SIM is equipped with a filtering system of air and pneumatic control that ensures the air quality and pressure that are necessary for the equipment to run correctly.

Metal detector ER model.
This is the star product of our range because of its resolution and simplicity of installation.
It consist of a detection coil that is mounted underneath the conveyor belt. Metal detector GR Model.
