How it worksThe system first removes surface dust and fine particulates from tablets using a controlled vibration and suction sequence to prepare a clean inspection surface. After dedusting, an inline metal detection head scans each tablet for ferrous, non-ferrous and stainless-steel contaminants. Detected contaminants trigger an automatic rejection mechanism to remove affected units and maintain compliance with cGMP and regulatory standards.
Two-stage dedusting process- Ascending vibration on a perforated track: tablets are conveyed upward while dust and fines fall through perforations into a collection tray.
- Targeted compressed-air blow-off: timed pulses of clean, dry compressed air remove remaining microscopic particles at transfer points to reduce false rejects and ensure clean surfaces for counting and packaging.
