Overview
Two-layer tablet press ZP series (models ZP-15E and ZP-19E) is designed for producing multi-layer tablets in pharmaceutical, nutraceutical and chemical industries. It enables controlled layering of different formulations into a single tablet for combined-release, separation of incompatible ingredients or staged dissolution.

Working principle

• Feeding: Granules or powders are delivered into dedicated hoppers for each layer.
• Compression: A rotating turret with punches and dies compresses each layer sequentially to form a bonded multi-layer tablet.
• Ejection: Finished tablets are ejected from the dies as the turret rotates.
• Collection: Tablets are collected for inspection, dedusting and downstream packaging.
