DX8200A is a top performance omni-directional laser bar code scanner, purposely designed to satisfy the needs of sorting applications for the Transportation & Logistics market. Datalogic used its experience with the DX8200 to develop the DX8200A, making it a more compact, increased performance omni-directional scanner. It is based on the innovative 3-diode structure, that offers an unbeatable real time Depth Of Field. As a result of improved ASTRA™ technology that increases its already impressive performance, 3 laser diodes are electronically switched from one to the other, depending on the bar code distance from the scanner. This means that the scanner is able to capture the bar code on an object of any possible shape, in any position, as the DX8200A focuses on the bar code and not on the object profile. Advanced ASTRA™ technology, moreover, permits the PackTrack™function, that reduces the min. object gap and increases the system throughput, to be fully exploited. The SW platform of the DX8200A, based on the GENIUS™ program, permits 100% control of scanner behavior via SW: the new DIGITECH™ signal processing technology permits all the scanner parameters to be configured via GENIUS™. As a result, scanner customization is made by simply downloading the right SW recipe into the scanner.DX8200A is completely compatible with the DS8100A, the 6000 scanner family and the SC6000 industrial controller making Datalogic’s offer more flexible and scalable, with numerous possibilities and solutions. Connectivity has been improved with the introduction of built-in Ethernet connectivity with implemented TCP-IP, Ethernet/IP, Modbus TCP and Profinet protocols.

DS8100A is a top performing fixed position laser bar code reader, designed to satisfy the needs of Sorting applications for the Transportation & Logistics market. DS8100A is based on an innovative 3-diode structure, that offers an unbeatable real time depth of field. As a result of improved ASTRA™ technology that increases its already impressive performance, 3 laser diodes can switch electronically from one to the other depending on the bar code distance from the scanner. This means that the scanner is able to capture the bar code on an object of any possible shape in any position, as the DS8100A focuses on the bar code and not on the object profile. Translating this into a benefit for the customer, ASTRA™ offers unbeatable reading performance over a fast moving conveyor system, since two different objects present under the DS8100A laser line can be identified simultaneously without any problem. Advanced ASTRA™ technology, moreover, permits the PackTrack™ function, reducing the min. object gap and increasing system throughput, to be fully exploited. The SW platform of the DS8100A, based on the GENIUS™ program, permits 100% control of scanner behavior via SW: DIGITECH™ signal processing technology permits all the scanner parameters to be configured via GENIUS™. The scanner customization is made by simply downloading the right SW recipe into the scanner. DS8100A is completely compatible with the DX8200A, the 6000 scanner family and the SC6000 industrial controller. A practical display with keyboard increases DS8100A's ease of use by offering a simple and complete human interface without the need of a PC.

When your production lines require that two or more lanes merge into a single, high speed lane, BluePrint Automation has the solution for you! The BluePrint Automation Servo Merge, a high speed, servo driven synchronization system, can be used to combine the flow of multiple lanes of product into one centered lane of product at the outfeed. The system utilizes a smart, photo-eye system to determine product positions and ensure a single lane, regardless of which lane enters the Servo Merge first.
|
|
These machines direct to one lane the products arriving from several lanes.
The products, stable or unstable, can be handled at low or high speed (more than 100 m/min).
Different technologies can be offered :
- The merger with bottom slides :
This is the same technology as for a divider.
- The merger with lateral slides :
The product is pushed on to one lane by lateral slides.
- The merger with lateral belts :
The product is pushed on to one lane by lateral belts.
These mergers place the products on to one lane and limit the friction between the product and the machine.

Caljan ParcelTrack - parcel registration
Many parcel registration or data capture solutions on the market can only handle rectangular parcels. Caljan ParcelTrack is able to register the size of any parcel regardless of its shape. All parcels are managed in-line, making expensive manual registration unnecessary. Caljan ParcelTrack is available in three sizes: manual stations, operator work-stations and fully automatic units. Each solution is modular, so you can extend your system as your company grows or as and when data capture requirements become evident. Start by investing in the unit that suits your current needs. As extra capacity is required, you can extend the existing system by adding units and options to increase capacity.

Carrier-Style (Bomb-Bay) Sortation Systems - GBI'S SORTER-LITE
GBI's new compact addition to our line of Carrier-Style / Bomb-Bay Sorter, Simple Solution Sorters, is the economical Sorter-Lite, combining the best features of our full sized sorters. The Sorter-Lite was specifically designed for the smaller warehouse and photofinishing labs that could benefit from this technology, but either didn't have the space for a sorter or the volume to justify the return on investment.
The Sorter-Lite Sorter utilizes the same proven technology, ruggedness, and software as GBI's full size sorters.
Automatic Induction is standard using our proven Synchro-Loader.
The Optional Vision Inspection Module may be added to recognize and/or record inbound & outbound product.
Interfaces to your WMS or host system.
Full tracking capability with numerous standard and custom reporting capability.
Easily configurable sort set-up using mouse clicks.
Flexible drop assignment and configuration.
Drops may be temporarily suspended or forced closed.
Sort Rate up to 6,000 sorts per hour.
Optional Oversize Station for including larger non-sortable items in the data sent to the host.
Modular construction enables easy expansion.
Synchro-Loader Features
Gently handles your product
Increases accuracy & speed
Provides positive induction displacement
Greater loading efficiency
Handles a wide range of product sizes - including 35mm & Pano packages (in photofinishing)
Package Configuration
To enable the sorter to transport a variety of package sizes, the carriers on this sorter come in two sizes and handle product measuring either:
13" high x 6.75" wide x 1.5" deep or
13" high x 6.75" wide x 2.8" deep
Controls and Accuracy
A generous amount of strategically placed sensors and controls are employed to monitor the conditions of the sort. There are sensors above the chutes to indicate if the product did not properly deploy into the chute and verification sensors to verify that the product released entered the appropriate chute. Drop verification is included with every carrier-based sorter to help assure a high accuracy rate.
GBI strives for 100% accuracy. Our customers report accuracy rates up to and exceeding 99.99%, with verification.
