Ultran Rodless Cylinders
The Bimba Ultran rodless cylinder provides one of the highest coupling strengths available. This means it can carry higher loads without causing the piston to uncouple from the carriage.
Bimba also offers two magnetic coupling strength options (Gold and Silver) to suit a wide variety of applications. The Silver option uses two sets of magnets instead of three.
Bore sizes are 5/16", 7/16", 9/16", 3/4", 7/8", 1-1/16", 1-1/4", 1-1/2", and 2".
Bimba offers a model with built-in guides (Ultran Slide) and an unguided unit (Ultran).

Ultran Rodless Slides
The Bimba Ultran rodless slide has two types, UGS-Ultran Slide, Gold coupling strength and USS-Ultran Slide, Silver coupling strength.
Bore sizes are 5/16", 7/16", 9/16", 3/4", 7/8", 1-1/16", 1-1/4", 1-1/2", and 2".
Options include stroke adjustment (both ends or one end), bumpers (both ends or one end), dowel pin holes for Transition Plates, switch track, and alternate ports (both ends or one end).
Accessories include shock absorbers, stroke adjustments, and stop collars.
Improper mounting of the Ultran slide could result in binding and/or excess breakaway. As a rule of thumb, the end blocks should be mounted flat with no more than 0.30 ° of differential misalignment end-to-end (including both end blocks).

Guidance system uses ground linear rails (and ball bearing blocks) for the lowest possible deflection when guiding the carrier and its load. Rectilinear Motion Enabled With A Round Shaft
The NB Slide Screw is a unique drive unit which makes efficient use of friction to convert rotary motion to linear motion. This unit is a very simple mechanism containing only radial bearings in contact with a shaft, providing ease of maintenance. Even if an accident occurs, this unit slips on the shaft, stopping itself to prevent further damage. The unit is applicable to a wide variety of devices by fully utilizing its features, although while accurate positioning would require an extra control.
