Linear Bearing Low (LBL) Profile Rail Slides
SETCO offers 6 standard sizes of Linear Bearing Low (LBL) profile rail slides; 200, 300, 400, 500, 600 and 800mm slide widths. Linear bearing slides are sometimes referred to as "rail slides" as the bearing units ride on rails. Linear bearing slides offer smooth low friction linear motion in a low profile compact package. Linear slides provide high rigidity and stability and can be applied to applications experiencing heavy loads, moments and high positioning speed applications.

Ultran Rodless Cylinders
The Bimba Ultran rodless cylinder provides one of the highest coupling strengths available. This means it can carry higher loads without causing the piston to uncouple from the carriage.
Bimba also offers two magnetic coupling strength options (Gold and Silver) to suit a wide variety of applications. The Silver option uses two sets of magnets instead of three.
Bore sizes are 5/16", 7/16", 9/16", 3/4", 7/8", 1-1/16", 1-1/4", 1-1/2", and 2".
Bimba offers a model with built-in guides (Ultran Slide) and an unguided unit (Ultran).

Ultran Rodless Slides
The Bimba Ultran rodless slide has two types, UGS-Ultran Slide, Gold coupling strength and USS-Ultran Slide, Silver coupling strength.
Bore sizes are 5/16", 7/16", 9/16", 3/4", 7/8", 1-1/16", 1-1/4", 1-1/2", and 2".
Options include stroke adjustment (both ends or one end), bumpers (both ends or one end), dowel pin holes for Transition Plates, switch track, and alternate ports (both ends or one end).
Accessories include shock absorbers, stroke adjustments, and stop collars.
Improper mounting of the Ultran slide could result in binding and/or excess breakaway. As a rule of thumb, the end blocks should be mounted flat with no more than 0.30 ° of differential misalignment end-to-end (including both end blocks). |

Linear motion has traditionally required separate components to handle both drive and support/guidance. The patented Kerk® ScrewRail combines both functions in a single, coaxial component. By eliminating the need for external rail-to-screw alignment, the ScrewRail simplifies the design, manufacture and assembly of motion systems. The ScrewRails coaxial design saves as much as 80% of the space used by a two-rail system and is generally less expensive than the equivalent components purchased separately. The savings can be substantial due to lower component costs and reduced labor.
An added benefit is the ability to get three-dimensional motion from a single ScrewRail. When mounted vertically, the ScrewRail can be used to simultaneously lift and rotate (Z-theta motion). With one motor driving the screw and a second rotating the rail, a compact, self-supporting pick and place mechanism can be created.
The ScrewRail Linear Actuator consists of a precision rolled lead screw, supported by sealed bearings and contained within a concentric steel guide rail, driving an integrated nut/bushing. Because all the alignment requirements are achieved within the ScrewRail, support and positioning of the ScrewRail is much less critical than with traditional slide assemblies. Kerkote® TFE coating and self-lubricating nut/bushing materials ensure long life without maintenance.
