LoPro provides smooth and quiet motion over long lengths, and offers unsurpassed performance in harsh environments. No other single linear motion system offers the flexibility of belt, chain, lead screw or ball screw actuation, as well as an undriven option. Systems may be mounted or un-mounted. Support beams are available in aluminum or steel to meet application demands and to provide ease of installation.
LoPro linear systems are available in four sizes, and can be built to accommodate virtually any stroke length (stroke is limited only by the method of actuation). A BIG LINEAR STEP FORWARD

Hepco's new Profile Driven Unit (PDU) plugs a significant gap in linear motion technology. It is a robust, high performance system designed specifically for applications requiring a cost effective solution to fit into a compact space envelope. Mechanically simple but highly innovative, PDU is very attractively priced and can satisfy the light-load, slow moving application to the more dynamically arduous high speed requirement.
PDU is the product of a marriage between proven belt technology, advanced engineering materials and Hepco's expertise in aluminum profile design. It comprises a slotted profile into which fits a drive belt and carriage. This arrangement effectively seals the unit. But perhaps the most significant element of the PDU system is Hepco's new Herculane® wheel technology.
These wheels run virtually friction-free on the inside surface of the profile providing stable support for the carriage plate. The unit offers extremely low friction and due to the wheel rolling motion will run without the need for any lubrication.
The carriage plate of the PDU is designed to accommodate the mounting of a second PDU unit. In this way a compact, high-performance X-Y system can be quickly and easily created.

The BiSlide Belt Drive Assembly consists of a motor/gearbox, mounted 90 degrees to a linear dovetail stage. The motor/gearbox couples to a stainless steel pulley which drives a steel reinforced timing belt.
The belt drive assembly is useful for long travel and high speeds. Speeds as high as 3 meters per second can be achieved using direct drive motors and high powered controllers. For high resolution, gear reduction motors are available. The belt drive’s high efficiency make it an ideal choice for moving light loads at high speed and for continuous duty applications.
The belt driven BiSlide Assembly is available in many length up to 220 inches (5.6 meters). Maximum payload is 260 lb./118 kg. Repeatability is 0.0002”/0.005 mm. The iLD 10 linear units with direct drives are for tasks and applications in the handling area with a favourable price/ performance ratio.
The base is comprised of aluminium profiles with swallowtail design shaped steel guides and internal magnetic tracks with a string potentiometer.
Inside the drive slides are at least 4 ball bearings, adjusted backlash-free, as well as the spool pack with path measuring head. This results in a quiet operation without signal dead range, with high dynamics and movement speed.

Complementary to the popular and proven PRT Ring Slides & Track System, DTS is a fully integrated belt-driven track system, and includes a couple of ingenious features amongst its many 'reduced engineering' attributes.
Available in either rectangular or oval format and in two rail sizes (25 and 44), DTS can be supplied as a stand-alone unit in conjunction with the MCS Machine Construction System, or as a sub-assembly on its own bespoke mounting plate. A steel-reinforced timing belt drives an unlimited number of carriages via adjustable pulleys under either continuous or intermittent motion.
Optional features include the Trip Latch mechanism, which disengages the drive from individual carriages which may become impeded, saving the system from damage. Also the Carriage Locking System will be particularly useful during intermittent motion. It locks any number of carriages into a fixed and repeatable position for further operations to take place.
A range of control and sensing operations are available, and the system may be specified with a plain output shaft, fitted AC Geared Motors, or a range of gearboxes for customers' own motors to be added.
