The konos series of conical twin-screw extruders is the fifth conical machine generation developed by Cincinnati Extrusion. Konos machines are being manufactured by the inventor of the conical twin-screw extruder and are founded on the tremendous experience of a company that has built over 6,000 conical extruders so far.
Our customers benefit from this experience. The konos series has an enormous processing latitude, long life, and an extremely good price-performance ratio. It comprises the standard models konos 38, 50, 63, 72, and the co-extrusion models konos 38 and 50 coex.
Konos machines perform excellently at both low and high melt pressure, and also as co-extruders. Their processing characteristics and advantageous design features make them the machines of choice for a wide range of applications.
Various feeding modes can be realised depending on the property of the material and the product requirements. A gated hopper, a dosing unit or a stuffer can be used.

With the further improved argos range, Cincinnati Extrusion offers high-performance parallel twin-screw extruders which are designed for utmost reliability and maximum productivity with output ranges of up to 1,500 kg/hr.
Argos extruders ensure high output capacity and an unique processing latitude. The processing unit with an effective L/D ratio of 28:1 keeps stress on the raw material at a minimum by efficient heat transfer. This is guaranteed by an optimal residence time spectrum and large internal surfaces.
An innovative 4-shaft concept is used for the distributor drive and enables using high torques at low screw speed. Overheating is thereby avoided so that consistent top product quality is ensured.
Using the Intracool screw temperature process, more energy can be transported than with any other external temperature control system.
Easily matching any liquid cooling system in efficiency, the apc high-capacity air cooling system offers the advantage of higher reliability combined with perfect temperature control and maintenance requirements practically down to zero.

Thermoforming consists in processing plastic into finished parts from a sheet or a film, by using heat to shape the sheet into the desired form. Accurate temperature control is essential to ensure high quality forming and constant production conditions.
Matrasur Composites offers a large range of thermoforming machines totally equipped and controlled by electric motors for a greater production rate compared to machines working with pneumatic or hydraulic power.
