M.E.C. Timing Belt®
Unlike traditional V-belts the SYNCHRONOUS M.E.C. TIMING BELTS® FOR INDUSTRIAL TRANSMISSIONS are fitted on toothed pulleys rather than those with V-shaped races. In this way, synchronism and accurate running are guaranteed by the reciprocal engagement of the teeth, like a gear transmission, so allowing the production of small, manageable transmission gears, which are lightweight yet provide high levels of power .
The (Timing and HTD) TIMING BELTS ® are available in rubber with fibreglass.
The wide range available and the different belt structures permit any kind of application, always taking into account the transmission power, the pitch between the teeth and the number of revolutions.
All belts are available as "closed loops", or open, in 60m rolls.

HONGS BELT -open end timing belt is made of thermoplastic polyurethane for high abrasion resistance; with steel cords inside keeps it running well below high load conveying applications. Nylon fabric can be added on both tooth and back side for special transmission characteristics. There are open and jointed timing belts.
HONGS BELT PU jointed drive belt is manufactured by special processing. The high quality polyurethane is good for high abrasion resistance and alkaline resistance, the steel cords inside extend the power and tensile resistance keeping the sizes steady. HONGS BELT are ideal for high load ,high dimensional, high speed transmission conveying applications, as well as low load and stepping conveying, such as office automatic equipment and home appliances.
HONGS BELT PU endless timing belt is truly manufactured with endless steel tension cords and thermoplastic polyurethane. They have no welding and ideal for power transmission and high load conveying applications. They are available in length from 1500mm to 22700mm.

Tooth Profiles: Trapezoidal, Curvilinear and Modified Curvilinear
Precision Molded Teeth: Synthetic polymers provide the height strength, shear resistance and environmental resistance needed to assure long dependable life.
Tooth Facing Fabric: The sprocket side of the timing belt has specially woven fabric that has been chemically treated to reduce friction and provide outstanding resistance to abrasion and heat.
Tensil Cord: Cord is dimensionally stable treated fiberglass, that resists shrinking and elongation.
Oil Resistant Backing: Polymers provide exceptional heat, abrasion and ozone resistance to protect the timing belt throughout desired service life.

The toothed belt is made of Neoprene® reinforced with fibreglass or aramid fibre cord. The semi-circular tooth shape and improved materials increase the transmission capacity and the service life as compared with classical trapezoid synchronous belts

The BRECO® TIMING BELT is manufactured in open length. The tension members are arranged with parallel edges. The preferred delivery form of the BRECO® TIMING BELTS is in open length, such as, e.g. in linear transmissions, to be connected to the machine component to be moved.
Applications for linear transmissions with BRECO® timing belts are to be found in handling technology, in industrial robots, racking system operating systems as well as cutting and drawing plotters. The BRECO® products reliably and precisely meet the special requirements involved, such as fast, exact positioning and smooth movements in all directions.
The BRECO® timing belt ATL specially optimised for linear transmission, is equipped with even stronger steel tension members. Flexibility paired with high longitudinal stiffness permit applications of the ATL timing belt where constructional space is limited and precision requirements are high.

Open belt drives
Our open belt drives are characterised by flexible power transmission, low shaft loads and minimal wear. They can transmit powers of up to 60 kW, or 150 kW in the case of special belts, and they are guaranteed to be temperature resistant up to 130°C. Open belt drives absorb shocks and vibration well, are extremely reliable and highly suitable for overload protection.
