A robust, cost effective modular fuel injection system for light duty diesel engine applications. Because of its smart solenoid injector design, the innovative Delphi Multec Diesel Common Rail System is extremely fast and has injection performances similar to competitive servo-piezo technologies. Its unique control strategies enable the system to deliver precise fuel quantities over the life of the engine and provide optimal emissions control and acoustic performance.
The system offers vehicle manufacturers significant simplification of the engine system design. The injectors operate at battery voltage and with the lowest energy requirements to provide a less complex and more cost effective electronics design. The injectors perform the pressure relief function in conjunction with the inlet metering system to eliminate the need for a high pressure discharge valve and, thus, further simplify packaging and reduce system cost.
Unique control strategies such as the Accelerator Pilot Control and Individual Injection Characterization provide optimal control of multiple injections. |

Our TF Series gas turbines are compact, lightweight and provide many times the horsepower over diesel engines for the same installed weight at a lower installed volume. With a cold-end drive, the gas turbine can be integrated into the package by cantilever mounting directly to the reduction gear, or mounting to a horizontal support frame and coupled to the reduction gear with a shaft and coupling.
The TF Series turbines can provide efficient power to a variety of propulsors including fixed and variable pitch propellers, waterjets and, in the case of hovercraft, air props. The small size and light weight features of the TF Series also allow for the installation of single or multiple gas turbines in combined system configurations. |
