Galil's DMC-21x3 Ethernet motion controllers are designed for extremely cost-sensitive and space-sensitive applications. These controllers are typically half-the-price and half-the-size of box-level Ethernet controllers. These intelligent, card-level controllers can be purchased with plug-in, multi-axis amplifier boards which eliminate wiring between the controller and drives. Amplifier boards are available for driving stepper, brush and brushless servo motors up to 500 Watts. Or, the ICM-20100 break-out board can be used for easy connection to external drives.
The DMC-21x3 series is available in one through eight axis versions and can be configured for control of step or servo motors on any combination of axes. The card-level controller measures just 4.25" x 7.0" for one through four-axis models and 4.25" x 10.75" for five through eight axes. Any mode of motion can be programmed including linear and circular interpolation, contouring, electronic gearing and ecam. As with all Galil controllers, programming the DMC-21x3 is simplified with two-letter, intuitive commands and a full set of software tools such as GalilTools for servo tuning and analysis, and the ActiveX Tool Kit for Visual Basic users.

The DMC-18x6 PCI bus controllers belong to Galil's latest generation motion controller family: the Accelera Series. Incorporating a 32-bit Risc-based microcomputer, these new controllers offer high-speed performance and processing power. Speed improvements include acceptance of encoder inputs up to 22 MHz, servo update rates as low as 24 microseconds/axis, and command execution speeds as low as 40 microseconds. While the DMC-18x6 offers performance enhancements compared to prior generation controllers, the programming language and 100-pin SCSI connector are virtually the same, making conversion to the DMC-18x6 quick and easy.
Like all Galil controllers, programming the DMC-18x6 is simplified with two-letter, intuitive commands and a full set of software tools such as WSDK for servo tuning and analysis, and an ActiveX Tool Kit for Visual Basic users.

This motion controller can communicate with the host computer through an RS-232 interface. It can manage up to four axes and perform coordinated or independent motion of each or all the axes simultaneously. With built-in high level functionality, such as circular and linear interpolation, multi-tasking and custom profiling, programming the controller is greatly simplified.
The motion controller can operate as a stand-alone system through the RS-232 port. It utilizes a 32-bit microprocessor to control the trajectory profile, acceleration, velocity, deceleration and direction of selected axes.
Our multi-axes controller is commanded using virtually any programming language to pass simple ASCII command strings to the controller through the RS-232 port.

Widely used
Users from many different industries have long placed their trust in Mitsubishi modular PLCs to control their processes or machines. In fact, ARC’s 2004 Worldwide PLC Survey ranks Mitsubishi as the world’s largest volume producer of PLC products.
All round control
Working tirelessly and reliably, existing CPUs from Mitsubishi such as the AnS, AnSH, QnAS and QnASH have brought innovation and ease of use to many shop floor applications – qualities shared by the latest generation of control technology: System Q.
Compatibility
For customers who are considering changing to System Q there are many benefits: increased processing speed, multi CPU capabilities, and wider ranges of modules all designed to make the system engineer’s life just that little bit easier.
Things to remember
When upgrading from AnS or QnS systems to System Q, the part numbering is simple and familiar – Q replaces A1S, for example; A1SX80 becomes QX80. Programs can be transferred from an existing installation using Mitsubishi’s GX and GX IEC programming software.

The Motion Coordinator MC464 represents a quantum leap in motion control technology. Run your machine faster with this new generation Motion Coordinator based on the 64 bit MIPS processor.
Choose the motor and drives to best suit your application without compromise, MC464 provides interface options for traditional servo, stepper and piezo control together with many digital interfaces for current digital servo drives. Increase the flexibility of your equipment with support for up to 64 axes of motion control. Trio’s tradition of modular configuration has evolved into convenient clip-on modules allowing the system designer to precisely build the configuration needed for the job.
Redesigned from the ground up the attention to detail is evident. The bright easy to read backlight display makes sure that controller status is easily determined, whilst the single piece metal casting provides an integrated earth chassis to improve noise rejection in the industrial environment.
Configure the controller functionality and connectivity by attaching up to 7 half-height expansion modules or 3 full-height expansion modules. Each module easily attaches to the controller with a new high density bus connection and a uniquely designed screw integrates the earth planes of all modules and controller together. Trio’s feature enable code system for axis activation allows the whole system to be scaled exactly to need.
The axis expansion modules feature many options for Drive Network interfaces, analogue servo, pulse/direction, absolute or incremental feedback and accurate hardware registration.

Force Control Industries, Inc. entered into the controls business in 1994 when it became apparent that many of the clutch/brake positioning problems associated with the Posidyne® clutch/brake were actually related to the controls, and not the fault of the clutch/brake. Many systems were built around a PLC, and scan time caused variable delays in the signal timing causing positioning errors. As the speeds increased, response became more and more critical, and millisecond variables caused unacceptable positioning errors.
The Posidyne® clutch/brake was often picked in critical positioning applications because of it's stopping consistency, however there were still position errors. The cold start to hot run change was most prevalent, as it is in all clutch/brakes. Many times the stop position flag would have to be adjusted after r unning for awhile, and if the machine was shut down for awhile, it may have to be readjusted again.
Positioning errors could also be caused by changes in temperature, speed, actuation pressure, or many other variables.
Force Control Industries, Inc. built the first control by buying components and installing into a box. This solved the scan time problem, but still left the adjustment needed due to other variables. A commitment was made by management to take a clean sheet of paper, and design and build a control that would not only solve the scan time problem, but would continuously self adjust to compensate for all of the other variables that affect clutch/brake drives.

JetWeb makes interface-free integration of motion systems possible - from simple point-to-point positioning to complex contouring control system. As a user, you will only need one development environment and one programming language for both the control and motion system, regardless of whether stepper or servo motors are being used. Powerful, high-level instructions for all motion functions simplify programming. An uncomplicated motion user-interface make commissioning and service much easier.
JetMove represents a powerful and compact family of motion systems. Due to interface-free integration into Jetter control systems, the highest possible flexibility and simplicity is achieved. JetMove motion controllers can handle asynchronous drives, synchronous drives and / or linear motors. The drive family covers rated currents ranging from 1.5 A through 70 A.
Depending on the individual field of application, motion systems will have to fulfil the most varied tasks. For these tasks, Jetter AG provides a broad spectrum of motors. For all motors, starting from mini-size motors of 0.03 Nm up to motors of 115 Nm, a complete series of motion packages can be provided.
