Galil's CDS-3310 is a single-axis controller and drive system for precisely controlling a brush or brushless servo motor. It combines a high-performance, programmable motion controller with a 500W PWM drive in a compact, cost-effective package. The CDS-3310 provides a 10/100 Base-T Ethernet port and individual CDS-3310 units may be connected on a distributed network and programmed as a single controller. The communication burden is minimized because the host PC only has to talk with the master CDS-3310, which in turn communicates with the other CDS-3310 on the network.
The CDS-3310 incorporates a 32-bit microcomputer and provides such advanced features as PID compensation with velocity and acceleration feedforward, program memory with multitasking for simultaneously running up to eight programs, and uncommitted I/O for synchronizing motion with external events. Modes of motion include point-to-point positioning, jogging, contouring, electronic gearing and ECAM. As with all Galil controllers, programming the CDS-3310 is simplified with two-letter, intuitive commands and a full set of software tools such as WSDK for servo tuning and analysis, and the ActiveX Tool Kit for Visual Basic users.

The DMC-1417 for the PCI bus is a member of the Econo Series, Galil's family of single-axis motion controllers which are half the size and half the price of multi-axis controllers. The DMC-1417 can handle the most demanding applications with such features as an extra encoder input for electronic gearing, program memory with multitasking, uncommitted I/O and user-selectable stepper or servo motor control. Modes of motion include point-to-point positioning, jogging, contouring, electronic gearing and ecam. Programming the DMC-1417 is simplified with two-letter, intuitive commands and a full set of software tools such as WSDK for servo tuning and analysis, ActiveX Tool Kit for Visual Basic users and a C-Programmers Tool Kit. The Econo Series controllers do not include uncommitted analog inputs and are not optoisolated. Use the DMC-1810 Optima controller if you require these features.

The NSC-1 Series motion controller is a powerful single axis machine control system which combines a bipolar microstepping driver with a programmable controller into a compact envelope. The motion controller can operate as a stand-alone system through the RS-232 port. It utilizes a 32-bit microprocessor to control the trajectory profile, acceleration, velocity, deceleration. Our controller is commanded using virtually any programming language to pass simple ASCII command strings to the controller through the RS-232 port. If closed loop moition control is required, the NSC-1 can be expanded to handle differential inputs from an encoder. The NSC-1 comes with a 120VAC power adapter.

Yaskawa single-axis controllers, or application modules, integrally mount to Yaskawa amplifiers to add positioning and communication features. This modular approach reduces integration costs by eliminating amplifier to controller wiring and improves performance by distributing position control to the point of the amplifier. The NS300, NS500, and NS600 provide simple positioning driven by digital I/O, serial, or fieldbus communication. The MP940 and LEGEND-MC offer the ultimate flexibility for complex move profiles tightly integrated to machine I/O.

All synchronization controllers shown on this site operate according to the Master- Slave principle. Where the Master can freely move with any motion profile under control of any remote speed reference, the synchronizer will control one or several Slaves to exactly follow the Master motion in terms of position and speed.
The control is based on incremental position feedback by means of encoders on both sides. Many applications just use a measuring wheel with encoder instead of a Master drive. It is possible to preset every speed or gear ratio by means of adjustable impulse scaling factors.
All units can accept marker pulses from the encoders and from remote proximity switches or photocells, to automatically produce the correct position with pitch or cycle related applications. motrona synchronous controllers can operate with any kind of speed variable drives (AC- inverter, DC, Servo or hydraulic type) that follow to a +/-10V speed reference signal. The extremely fast position control loop provides excellent performance even with highly dynamic applications

The POSYS® 3004 (Designed & Made in Germany) is a PC/104 form factor board dedicated to high performance motion control applications with extensive interpolation functionality. The POSYS® 3004 is designed to control up to 4 axes of servo and stepper motors and provides hardware linear, circular, Bit Pattern and continuous interpolation which allow to perform the most complex motion profiles. Update rates per axis do not exist as each axis runs in absolute real-time mode simultaneously which makes these boards to one of the best performing motion controllers for up to 4 axes in the market.
The POSYS® 3004 in addition provides an on-board DOS-like RTOS with 8 MB SDRAM and 8 MB Flash RAM with integrated Web, FTP and Telnet server for communication purposes via the x3 RS232/RS485 serial, x1 Ethernet, x1 USB1.1 or x2 CAN 2.0b interface which enhances this board for a variety of connection solutions. This allows maintenance, executing, monitoring, updating and diagnostics to be performed easily via network, field bus, Internet or Intranet. The multitasking capability allows up to 12 tasks to be executed simultaneously. Together with the CoDeSys IEC 61131-3 Runtime library integrated, this board can be used for almost any kind of motion control application. An optional switch allows to choose between pure PC/104-Bus (Option; ISA-Bus) communication or any of the other communication possibilities which can be used in parallel mode.

The DMC-40x0 motion controller is Galil's highest performance, stand-alone motion controller. It belongs to Galil's latest generation motion controller family: the Accelera Series, which accepts encoder inputs up to 22 MHz, provides servo update rates as high as 32 kHz, and processes commands as fast as 40 microseconds-10 times the speed of prior generation controllers.
The DMC-40x0 is a full-featured motion controller packaged with optional multi-axis drives in a compact, metal enclosure. The unit operates stand-alone or interfaces to a PC with Ethernet 10/100Base-T or RS232. The controller includes optically isolated I/O, high-power outputs capable of driving brakes or relays, and analog inputs for interfacing to analog sensors. The DMC-40x0 controller and drive unit accepts power from a single 20-80 VDC source. The DMC-40x0 is available in one through eight-axis formats, and each axis is user-configurable for stepper or servo motor operation.
Like all Galil controllers, programming the DMC-40x0 is simplified with two-letter, intuitive commands and a full set of software tools such as WSDK for servo tuning and analysis, and an ActiveX Tool Kit for Visual Basic users.

Stand-alone NC's offer the user a set of standard resources (controlled axes, inputs, outputs, serial channels, etc.) which, following Robox's expertise, represent a least common multiple for a variety of motion control applications. The main advantages of stand-alone architectures are the following:
- optimum performance/cost ratio
- minimum overall dimensions
- ease of servicing by replacing the complete NC
- high noise rejection.
Their disadvantages are striclty related to the stand-alone architecture, but they are easily bypassed connecting to their synchronous and asynchronous serial ports the required additional resources.
