Our pliers create an equalization of the electrostatic potential or earthing, in potentially explosive atmospheres, as in tanks,reservoirs,silos,storage bins,tank trucks,tankers,cylinders,in bottle filling and cylinder filling plants,refineries,chemical and petrochemical plants,pharmaceutical industries etc., the electrostatic energy accumulated during the transport,intake,pouring,blending,homogenization and the filling with flammable products (gas or powders).
The pliers are built to the European Standard 94/9CE guide lines ATEX (d.l. 233/03 of 12/6/2003) and certified CESI03 ATEX 101X, for the category II2GD, method of protection/group IIC.
Our Pliers are the ISEO 1, with 1 electric contact and the ISEO 2, with 2 electric contacts to be interfaced to resistance capacity electronic equipment (not supplied by ICMI), to check that the actual earthing has taken place. Different accessories are available (cable reel in plastic or aluminium, retractable spiral cable, cable junction kit, etc.,). Hose & Reel Products static grounding reels provide for
the payout, retraction and compact storage capacities of
up to 61m of grounding cable. These spring rewind reels
are used in any flammable atmosphere where a build-up
of static electricity could cause a spark and
subsequent explosion. They bond and/or ground aircraft,
fuel trucks and other equipment during refueling or other
hazardous operations. Their spring motors provide
smooth operation and require minimum cable pull to release
the lock. A declutching arbor automatically disengages
the spring to prevent damage from reverse winding.
All models have an adjustable guide arm with cable guide
to prevent cable build-up during rewinding. The arm can
be locked in any operating position in a 270° arc.

The operation of any voltage detector needs to be verified before use to be sure that the detection circuit, battery, light, and buzzer are all operating properly. Securiterre - Dual Mode Security
Designed to prevent static accumulation and discharge during road tanker loading and off-loading, the Securiterre ensures correct bonding and grounding procedures before product transfer.
The Securiterre continuously monitors the static earth path and carries out a unique “tanker verification” when connected. Only when these two conditions are within correct parameters the system becomes permissive, thereby eliminating the potential for operator error. Local indicator lights confirm the tanker/earth condition to the operator, whilst the internal voltage free switch contacts may be interlocked with tanker-loading systems, pumps, valves, alarms, etc. When not connected to the rest plug or rail tanker the circuit is grounded through a large resistance to reduce the hazard of sparking.
The Securiterre has proven indispensible wherever road tankers are involved in the transfer of flammable products (liquids, gases or bulk powders, flakes or granules). The Securiterre has been designed in accordance to ATEX regulations and is certified for use in hazardous areas.

Angst+Pfister has concentrated its safety technology program on the theme of "illuminated safety systems", containing a very diversified and high-standing range of products.
