The ergonomically designed three position enabling devices are used for personnel safety when fault finding or testing. Holding the large button on the JSHD4 device in the ergonomic midpoint position provides 'run' output signals. If the button is pressed fully down or released a 'stop' signal is given. Jokab Safety has two versions of two hand control devices. The "SafeballTM" is a new ergonomic control device which provide varied gripping possibilities. We have also developed and included in our range a traditional two hand control device, the JSTD20.
A worker in a dangerous situation must be able to give a stop signal if he in panic pushes or releases the safety push-button. Enabling or Hold to Run devices are used during trouble shooting, programming and testing when no other safety devices are practical or possible.
If the worker has to enter a dangerous area to trouble-shoot or to test-drive a machine it is extremely important that he has the possibility to stop the machine without having to rely on someone else standing next to an emergency stop further away. In addition, no-one should be able to start the machine from the outside when the worker has stopped the facility with the three position push button.
Our ergonomical three-position/hold to run device is used as a safety device during trouble-shooting and testing. A ready signal is given in a distinct middle position. If the large "button" in the handle of the JSHD4 is pressed to the bottom or released a safe stop will be given. The two three-position buttons, JSHD2, in the handle are also used in programming units for both new and old Irb's.

Traditional ‘turnbuckle’ style rope fasteners and adjusters are prone to rope slippage and require frequent re-tensioning leading to production loss caused by machine down time.Idem has overcome this common problem by providing a ‘no nuts or bolts suppliers’ rope connection system with a ‘Quick Link’ clasp at one end of the rope and a patented Tensioner /Gripper at the other.

Command devices are of great importance for the man-machine interface in the area of industrial applications. For example, they are mounted in switch-boards, control panels, two-hand control panels, in lift manufacture and on materials-handling plants, including industrial conveyors. Manual actuation of the devices starts operating sequences and functional processes or serves to bring these to an end.
Emergency stop command devices are generally connected in the safety circuit of a machine or plant and are of particular importance in terms of the control system for these. In case of a fault or accident, the secure function and quick accessibllity of Emergency Stop command devices can be crucial for saving life, limiting the degree of injury to personnel or the extent of damage to a machine.

PICO-GUARDTM
The patent pending PICO-GUARDTM system is a unique combination of control-reliable, non-contacting photoelectric and fiber optic technologies that provide a low-cost alternative to cumbersome and costly methods for machine safeguarding. The fibers can be easily piped to points requiring safeguarding with no electrical wiring required. The controller has four independent optical channels, offering the ability to safeguard multiple points with one controller. The Proximity Industrial laser scanner FLSC is a scanning distance detector. With it, persons and objects can be recognized inside a defined protection field.
A pencilled LASER beam is deflected by a rotating mirror. With it, a
circular area with a aperture angle of 180o and a radius of approx. 15 m is scanned.
The semicircular area is divided in two recognition areas:
Personal protective recognition area: Radius 4m
Object recognition area: Radius 15 m
In every recognition area a protective field can be fixed.The form of the protective field is independently eligible resp. programmable: The delivered with communication software enables to fix the form of the respective protective field with a PC on your own. The coordinates of the protective fields are saved in the Proximity Laser Scanner FLSC. The Proximity Laser Scanner FLSC compares themeasured datas with the saved protective fields,and recognizes, if a object is in a protective field.
If the emitting beam meets a object inside the working field (person or thing ),he will be reflected. A part of the reflected diffuse radiation is collected by the receiving part of the Proximity Laser Scanner FLSC.

The ROTOSCAN RS4-4E is a non-contact optical area industrial scanner. Like a radar laser scanners permanently scan the complete field of work in an angle of 190° and a radius of several meters and so monitor a two-dimensional area. Within this work area independent detection and warning zones can be programmed with a PC software. Persons entering the detection zones will be detected and an emergency stop signal will be generated for machinery.

Articulated lorry driver arrives at the specified loading bay and reverses the trailer into position, applies the brakes and switches off the engine.
The Salvo-susieis collected from the bay.
The operator removes the Red emergency airline from the trailer bulkhead coupling, this action applies the air
brakes and inhibits the movement of the trailer.
The Salvo-susieis fitted onto the now exposed emergency airline coupling. After successful fitment, a Castell coded key is released from the Salvo-susie, locking the unit firmly onto the coupling. The fitting of Salvo-susieprevents the airline being re-applied.
From here the key is taken to the loading bay and used to open the bay door. Please refer to the system options shown within this document. Site working practices will also need to be taken into consideration.

Safety coded magnetic sensor, SR-SM series

Safety magnetic transducers are devices studied to monitor protections and guards that, when linked to a safety module, can create a system up to safety category 4, according to EN 954-1. These products are composed by a magnetic field monitoring sensor, which is connected to the machine structure; and by a coded magnetic actuator, which has to be connected to the mobile guards. The sensor is manufactured to be activated only by the correct coded actuator and not through a common magnet.
