Overview
The BugShield Roll Up industrial screen door is a mesh barrier engineered to prevent pest ingress while maintaining ventilation and natural light for industrial facilities. A sliding model is available for wider openings.

Design and materials
The curtain is heavy-duty vinyl-coated mesh. Standard construction: 17 x 11 weave, .025" thread diameter; optional 30 x 20 (.013") and 12 x 8 (.028") weaves for different visibility and airflow profiles. Standard colors: safety yellow, red, blue and gray; certain optional weaves available in black or gray.

Sealing
Top seal: Turn‑Tite® centrifugal top seal. Bottom sealing uses an Elvaloy™ loop seal with optional water-resistant Hypalon® bottom seal for added protection. Polyethylene track inserts enhance wind resistance and ensure smooth curtain travel.

Track
Standard in‑jamb extruded PVC track for strength and durability; optional steel track available where increased mechanical resistance is required.

Drive system
Manual models: 10,000-cycle torsional spring housed in the roll tube, with pull-down handles and bumper strop to prevent overtravel. Powered models: tubular motor with gear head, free-fall brake protection and rotary limit switches; motor is contained within the roll tube and drives the tube with an integral key.

Control box: NEMA 4X enclosure with constant-contact rotary cam switch (powered models). Electrical requirements (powered): 120 V, 1 ph, 60 Hz standard; 220 V, 1 ph, 50 Hz available.
