Mass Airflow sensors contain a thin-film, thermally isolated bridge structure containing heater and temperature sensing elements. The bridge structure provides a sensitive and fast response to the flow of air or other gas over the chip. State-of-the-art chip design and manufacturing techniques allow the microbridge to be remarkably sensitive, fast, small. Used wherever airflow needs to be measured.

ComfortSense
Thermal comfort measurement according to EN 13182, ISO 7736 and ASHRAE standard 113
Dantec Dynamics’ ComfortSense system is designed for research and development of heating and air conditioning systems requiring multi-point measurements of air velocity and temperature. Draught measurements require omnidirectional sensors with a frequency response of at least 2 Hz, which is fulfilled by the present system.
ComfortSense elements
The ComfortSense system consists of a main frame with anemometer circuits for up to 16 probes. The omnidirectional probes measure both air velocity and temperature. Six frames can be connected so that up to 96 probes can be monitored simultaneously. The ComfortSense main frame has a built-in A/D converter with USB 2.0 interface.
Easy-to-use
It is easy for the user to setup a measurement sequence and make a measurement grid with selection of probes from a user library. The software delivers statistical results based on user-defined measurement cycles. The ruggedly designed probes and cables are perfectly suited for large test rooms.

Specially developed for the supervision of clean-rooms, the CPE 300 is dedicated to measures of low pressure andor depression of air or neutral gases from 0/+10 Pa to -1000 /+1000 Pa.
The CPE 300 presents the advantage to become integrated perfectly into walls and to answer to the standard of cleanliness thanks to its stainless case (brushed or with lacquered).
It is equipped with 2 visual and audible alarms, with 2 reversers relays, of a big electroluminescent display and a process of autocalibration which guarantees in the time an excellent stability and a reliability of the measure in low as in high scale.
Thanks to its digital communication (RS 232 and Protocol Modbus RS 485), it offers the possibility of showing alternately (in addition of the measure of pressure) two other parameters resulting from temperature, humidity, velocity or airflow external sensors (KIMO).
Two innovative systems to facilitate the maintenance on-site :
· Its measuring element benefits from the SMART PRO system. It is individually adjusted and is automatically recognized by the device. Thanks to this process, it is possible to replace the measuring element in a simple and fast way without return of the sensor to the factory.
· The calibration in front face : this system allows to proceed to the calibration of the device without un-mounting it.
The sensor CPE 300 is so always operational !

The deltaflow flometer is continiously developed and inprooved and we hold several patents on the deltaflow Technology. But we do not only rely on our own know-how %u2013 systec is furthermore co-operating with well known partners sich as the institute for flow mechanics of the University of Erlangen oder the PtB in Braunschweig.
Due to the special probe profile the deltaflow can assure a high level of precision and excellent process viability, even in extreme conditions causing the lowest residual pressure loss. The deltaflow has been installed several thousand times.
Typical Applications are flow measurement of steam, perssurized air, water, liquids, stack gas, flare gas, natural gas.
Typical industries where our deltaflow integrating pitot tubes are used are Power Plants, Chemistry, Petrochemistry, Gas- and Oil Exploration, waste water plants.
The program to size and design the deltaflow is very self-explanatory and you can download it for free from our web-page as a Windows file (Windows 9x, 2000 and NT).
You can find more details in the referring information sheets. At the bottom of this page you can find links to the information sheets and to the software

Designed for industrial process air and gas flow measurement, the Thermo Scientific DSK1000 Series is a multipoint pitot averaging air/gas flow measurement sensor ideal for process control applications even when there is very little straight run of pipe available.
The DSK1000 Series Air/Gas Flow Sensor is a pitot averaging air & gas flow measuring station with "Integral Flow Straighteners" designed for industrial process air and gas flow measurement.
The DSK1000 Series is ideal for process control applications where high repeatability must be maintained even when there is very little straight run of pipe available.
The integral flow straighteners eliminate the effects of turbulence while providing the equivalent of 7-9 diameter of straight run. The multi-point pitot array features Thermo Brandt's patented "Kiel Shrouded" impact ports and "Hemispherical Static Wands" positioned parallel with the flow stream for true static measurement.

EE66 Series
Air Velocity Transmitter for measurement down to "0" m/s
EE66 air velocity transmitter series are designed for high accuracy measurement of lowest air velocities. It is the ideal solution for laminar flow control and special ventilation applications. The E+E thin film sensor is operating on an innovative hot film anemometer principle. This guarantees excellent accuracy for air velocity down to almost 0 m/s, which is not possible for conventional anemometers with commercial temperature sensors or NTC bead thermistors
EE66 series are available with current or voltage output, the measuring range and the response time can be selected with jumpers by the user.
Measuring range: 0...1 m/s; 0...1.5m/s; 0...2m/s (adjustable by jumpers)
Response time: typ. 4s or typ. 0.2s (adjustable by jumpers)
Outputs: 0...10 V or 4...20 mA (adjustable by jumpers)
Supply: 24V AC/DC

Measure the mass of air ingested by a gasoline or diesel engine using hot wire anemometry. The concept is simple; the implementation is unique.
At the heart of the design of Delphi's Probe Air Meters is a platinum-based, glass-coated, heated sensing element. The element is a low mass, quick responding device used in a bridge circuit configuration. It is very robust to damage from dust impingement. Delphi's Probe Air Meters feature a patented dimpled flow management pattern that provides more consistent air flow across the sensing elements, enabling outstanding performance in application-specific ducting.
Delphi's family of Probe Air Meters includes:
· Probe Single for unidirectional air flow applications
· Probe Dual features two heated sensing elements
· Probe Bypass for 4- and 5-cylinder turbo engines
Delphi has delivered more that 40 million air meters since 1993.
