Broadband Digital Step Attenuators - 75 Ohm
Peregrine's highly linear, monolithic RF DSA family offers a selection of resolutions, minimum attenuation step sizes and termination impedances. Its UltraCMOS™ foundation allows for a unique initial attenuation state at power-up and a standard programming sequence and footprint across the 5 and 6 bit family. The DSA line provides industry-leading linearity over frequency and temperature, a versatile parallel or serial CMOS control interface, and operates on a single 3-volt supply, making it ideal for applications such as wireless base station, fixed wireless, microwave, VSAT, broadband telecom, military, space, test instrumentation, and optical equipment.

Amphenol Fiber Optic Products attenuator product line
consists of fixed and variable optical attenuators. An
attenuator, by definition, is a device which precisely reduces
an optical signal from point-to-point. The loss can be
achieved through various technologies such as absorption,
scattering, interference (thin film) filter, or air-gap. Amphenol
has successfully developed three varieties of attenuators
using select technologies to provide the best products in the
market place.

Polarizer-Analyzer-Attenuator is a stacked series of ZnSe plates placed at Brewster’s angle to an incoming beam. At each plate, virtually all of the p-polarized component is transmitted, while most of the s-polarized component is reflected. The net result, after the beam has traversed several plates, is a beam which is virtually only p-polarized.
Applications
* Unpolarized beam polarization
* Laser beams polarization analysis
* Continuously variable attenuation of linearly polarized beams
* Electro-optic modulation systems
Features
* High-power handling
* Visible transmission for easy alignment
* Low-insertion loss
* High-extinction ratio (> 500:1)
* Broadband operation (2 to 14 µm)
* Optional exit port or heat sink cooling

Spiricon has the most extensive array of accessories for beam profiling existing. There are components for attenuating, filtering, beam splitting,
magnifying, reducing and wavelength conversion. There are components for wavelengths from the deep UV to CO2 wavelengths. Most of the
components are modular so they can be mixed and matched with each other to solve almost any beam profiling requirement needed.
