Hydraulic clamping elements - adjustable in the T-slot.
Hydraulic clamping elements, which are positioned by sliding in the T-slots of the press or the machine. Ideal for fitting to existing presses or machines without the need to standardize the workpiece width. For example hollow piston cylinders, sliding clamps, clamping systems with pusher chain, spindle drive or pneumatic cylinder. Special customer requirements with respect to size, higher clamping force, extended clamping stroke or double-acting version can be complied with. Compact, well proven clamping elements with maximum clamping forces.

The sliding clamp is manually placed in the T-slot provided in the press ram or bed. The die is clamped on its clamping edge by applying hydraulic pressure to the piston and mechanically unclamped by a spring return. The clamping block may also be fastened directly, without a T-slot adapter.

OK-VISE has designed a plate kit that allows the upside-down use of a regular single-wedge clamp.
When the single-wedge clamp is turned upside-down, the jaws will move linearly sideways also travelling simultaneously downwards along the wedge. This will create a pull-down action thrusting the workpiece with greater power towards the fixturing base.

The high ressure vice ARNOLD IZ1 is a vice that can be automized and needs to be connected to a hydraulic group with a pressure of 300 bar. It is a vice of reduced size but large clampling range. This model has been developed for fast clamping systems.

Thanks to their compactness and efficiency, OLMEC high pressure clamping systems significantly reduce times. Constructed using heat-treated titred steel, with low-friction bronze guides, they are assembled with seals of various types such as filled Teflon, Polyurethane and O-rings. The maximum temperature of the pressurized fluid must not exceed 60°C; if higher temperatures are envisaged, specify this on order so that the cylinders can be fitted with suitable seals.
The combination of clamping cylinders with pneumohydraulic pumps or boosters forms a complete work unit, ensuring increased productivity and rise quality.

SERIES-9 CLAMPS
This adjustable low profile, cam action clamp provides clamping of different size work pieces merely by rotating the clamp to one of its other edges.
The clamps are 10mm high and use an M12 cam screw. Each of the six clamping surfaces is a different distance from the centerline by 1mm as shown in the chart. Therefore, one Series-9 clamp can hold parts that vary up to 9.4 mm simpy by rotating the clamp to a different clamping surface.

This clamping set is self-centring with excellent concentricity. The extremely small outer diameter is space-saving and suitable for small wheel diameters. The spacer ring between the outer flange and the hub maintains the fitting position in the axial direction to enable exact positioning without a shaft collar. The push-off threads in the outer flanges are used for dismantling.

Low-profile clamps come in two basic models, one with a single-wedge and the other with a double-wedge construction. In addition, we offer a line of machinable jaw models for workpieces of irregular shape and a special model for casting and wire EDM applications
Standard models come with a hardness of 48-52 HRC and the jaws are serrated or smooth, depending on model. Both the wedge and the jaws are made of tool steel and are through hardened. Fastening operation involving one bolt (M5-16) ensures quick set up times.

The newcomer in the Ortlinghaus line of products for press drives is our hydraulically actuated form - fit linear motion lock, featuring electronic monitoring. This WORLD NOVELTY is used to lock the press ram regardless of it`s current position and can be integrated into the clutch itself. The activation of the linear motion lock can be implemented into the press control or can be activated by the machine operator from his panel. Actuation
Safety Locks are held open by hydraulic (100 bar min) or pneumatic (3,5 bar min) mean and clamp when pressure drops.
Direction of load
In most applications Safey Locks are mounted on a baseplate, so that the load causes a compressive force to the mounting surface. But if the application requires an upward absorption of the load, a flange for attachment is required as well as a special design of the Safety Lock housing regarding the tensile load.

Hydraulic heavy load brake:
The Braking and Clamping Element with spring-loaded energy storage KBHS.
The KBHS series is a hydraulically operated heavy load brake featuring spring-loaded energy storage.
This function is based on the toggle lever principle. Pre-tensioned stress bolts provide holding force in case of pressure drop. Here the large-surface contact sections, which are equipped with a special brake lining, are pressed directly onto the free surfaces of the section rail.
At a hydraulic opening pressure of 150bar a holding power of up to 40,0000N is achieved.
The KBHS series features a compact design and is suitable from sizes 35 to 125.
The KBHS series is designed for braking and clamping on linear guides. Because of the material combination of the linear guide/contact section, the linear guide won't be damaged by the contact section

The TP series is a pneumatic clamping element for torque motors or for rotational axes.
It works with a newly developed spring-loaded energy storage system.
Torque take-up occurs inside the TP which excludes wear on the driven shaft.
TP achieves high holding torques at a pneumatic opening pressure of >4 bar.
Due to high rigidity, positioning accuracy is exact in use.
The zero maintenance TP is suitable for shaft diameters of

The Clamping and Braking Element with spring-loaded energy storage UB.
The UB series combines the technology of our BW, TK and MB series. The rigid housing and central position of the wedge slide gear achieve very high supporting forces. The mounting hole template enables the BW, TK and MB series to be substituted. The UB series is based on a dual-effective wedge slide gear with spring-loaded energy storage for clamping and braking without pressure.
This arrangement of three pistons connected in a line allows use of a stronger spring at 5.5bar.
The stronger spring-loaded storage permits holding forces up to 9,000 N. Positive fit contact sections mounted within a strong casing guarantee high axial and horizontal rigidity.
The UB series is designed for braking on linear guides. Because of the material combination of the linear guide/contact section, the linear guide won't be damaged by the contact section.
In order to exclude damage from contamination with chips (chips between contact section and linear guide), the elements can be fitted with original seals (seal kit) from the respective linear guide manufacturer and longitudinal seals as accessories.
When used in harsh work environments or with cooling liquid, the seal kit should be used as well.
