| National's Powerwise Analog-to-Digital Converters (ADCs) are the lowest power family of A/D converters on the market. In addition to providing extremely low power consumption over a range of sample rates, each ADC has a very efficient power down feature. For example, a single channel 1Msps PowerWise ADC used in a 10 Ksps application has a typical power consumption of 0.02 mW at 3V. |

Linear Technology offers a complete family of high performance analog to digital converters (ADCs), including 16-bit to 24-bit delta-sigma converters for precision measurements, up to 16-bit high-speed pipeline for communications and 8-bit to 16-bit low power successive approximation (SAR) ADCs for everything in between.

| RAD004 enables 6-bit analog to digital conversion from DC to GHz signals. It has been optimized for ultra-high speed applications with its 4 GS/s operating frequency. The encoder has high immunity to errors that could cause the generation of sparkles in the output. There are two input clocks: CLK1 and CLK2, which are used by the track and hold amplifier, and CLKI which is an option to be used at the decoder. The RAD004 also includes a pseudo random number generator (PRN) for testing purposes. |
