Tygon® B-44-EU was formulated, notably, to meet the new European Directive 2002/72/EEC limiting the use of phtalate in plastic for food contact.
This new formulation is compatible with : dry, moist forms and aqueous products, acid or alcoholic substances up to 50°C as well as for milk.
Tygon® B-44-EU is recommended for its reliability for a wide range of applications : filling, drainage and transfer.
It has an outstanding resistance to both alkalin detergents and sterilization substances commonly used.
It is not suitable for fatty products.

Corroflon hose was the first convoluted PTFE lined hose product in the world to be developed specifically for process fluids transfer applications in pharmaceutical and chemical plants.
Corroflon was launched in 1978, and since then all of the major advances in convoluted PTFE hose design have been pioneered by Aflex Hose and incorporated into the Corroflon hose product range. These include anti-static PTFE, polypropylene braid, and EPDM or silicone rubber hose covers. Aflex Hose also developed and introduced PTFE lined and flared end fittings which protect the end fitting from contact with the process fluid, and provide clean, uninterrupted fluid flow through the end fitting.
Over the years, Corroflon hose and end fittings have been continuously developed and improved to maintain market leadership, and design features which have been identified as prime requirements have been incorporated at every stage.
These include the thickest wall and the best processed tube lining available, to prevent the development of porosity in the PTFE, which is the primary cause of premature failure in competitors’ products.
Corroflon is also fully kink resistant and vacuum resistant due to the tight helical wire reinforcement and the convoluted design profile.
The build quality and design excellence of Corroflon hose have been tested and proved in numerous applications worldwide, and hundreds of thousands of Corroflon hoses have been applied and used successfully over the last 30 years.

Colex Silv-Ion™ PVC Hose and Tube contains a special FDA food approved formulation of clear flexible PVC Shore A 74.
This material has been developed to combat the microbial organisms that can be harmful to people, such as MRSA, E-Coli, Pseudomonas, Streptococci and Salmonella.
This material can also protect against microbial organisms that cause product deterioration, discoloration and bad odours.
Applications
Colex Silv-Ion™ is suitable for use in Hospitals and Healthcare due to it’s ability to destroy bacterial cells.
However, community-acquired MRSA (or C-MRSA) can now be found in communal areas, such as Schools, health-clubs and houses, making the applications for Colex Silv-Ion™ endless.

The Series HL foodstuffs hose is another innovation and stands out because of its compact build. The heating element is wound onto the inner liner of the NBR hose and is thus vulcanised in the inner core. There is practically no more difference to an unheated hose either optically or in technical applications terms. The temperature sensor is also worked into the hose and captures the temperature directly at the hose wall.
