Gates' new range of custom-designed self-assembly machinery:
This new machinery programme offers a grease-free, ergonomic and user-friendly package for professional service in a workshop environment, for mobile operations and even for service in the field. It ensures the production of factory quality assemblies fully complying with European Directives and the most stringent international standards
The new range includes hose cutting, marking and crimping machines and comes with the necessary accessories such as a Quick Die Change Tool (QDC) and marking dies.
All machines are designed to be user-friendly and ensure fast, comfortable handling. In all electrical-driven crimpers, a standard built-in storage rack is positioned for quicker die selection, while die sets are logically organised and within easy reach of the operator.
For service in the field Gates has developed a range of small, portable and lightweight crimpers specifically designed for end-users on site so unnecessary downtime can be avoided. These portable machines come with a detachable die storage case, solid and durable handles and resistant rubber protection layers.
Providing the customer with maintenance-free and cost-competitive machinery is an aspect of Gates Integrated System Approach. Within this approach Gates does not only offer a wide array of hoses and couplings manufactured to stringent tolerances but also rigorously validated assembly machines and dies together with optimal crimp data. All these components are designed together to guarantee a perfect fit, enhanced safety and high-quality performance. |

| The PC125 portable crimper with its open design, removable pusher and easy to use, spring loaded die set, is designed for higher production volume and repetitive use. Crimp diameter is set and controlled with an easy to read micrometer. The PC125 is packaged for shop service and includes the crimper and 1 HP, 110V electric pump on a common base, compression ring, pressure plate, magnetized die ring pusher, stop/start remote pendant switch, metric micrometer, adjustable coupling stop and adjustable retraction stop. |
